The question I am good at is the uncomfortable one: what is actually broken, and what do we do next?
Most owners arrive with a symptom. Revenue is flat, the calendar is empty, or the calendar is full and nothing closes. The symptom is almost never the problem. The problem is one step upstream of it, and it is usually something the owner has stopped looking at because looking at it is unpleasant.
So that is where a call with me starts. We find the leak first. Is it lead flow, show rate, the sales call, the follow-up, the people on the phones, or the founder still taking every call? Once the leak has a location, the fix is usually obvious, and you can decide whether you want help with it.
What is actually broken
-
The calendar is empty
A lead problemYou have an offer people buy when they get on a call with you, but not enough people get on a call. More closers will not fix this. You need a funnel that books qualified appointments every week, and someone working the conversations it starts.
-
You take every call yourself
A capacity problemThe business sells because you sell it, which means it stops growing when your week is full. You need your first setter and your first closer, hired properly, trained on a process, and measured on numbers you can read without sitting in on the calls.
-
Calls get booked and nobody shows
A sales operations problemThe leads are there and the money leaks out between the booking and the call. That is a confirmation, setting and follow-up problem, and it is cheaper to fix than buying more leads to pour into the same hole.
-
Your closers are on the phone and not closing
A process problemWhen results depend on which rep picked up the call, there is no sales process, only personalities. The fix is a process every rep runs, call reviews that find where each call actually turned, and scorecards that show a slump before it shows up in the bank account.
-
Prospects say they need to think about it
A belief problemThe stated objection is rarely the real one. A buyer who walks away to think still does not believe something: that the problem is costing them enough, that this is the way to fix it, or that they can do it. Those beliefs are built in discovery, long before the price comes up.
Where I learned it
-
Top closer, then sales trainer
Traffic & FunnelsBecame a top closer on high-ticket coaching and consulting offers, then moved into training the sales team: reviewing calls, coaching reps and reinforcing sales process so performance came from the system rather than from personality. The closing work is where I learned to find the real constraint behind what a prospect says the problem is.
-
Selected closing engagements
IndependentContract high-ticket closing on offers involving Jen Gottlieb and Ryan Deiss, plus other established coaching and information offers and live events, adapting to different positioning, prospect profiles and sales environments while keeping the conversation consultative.
-
Former Chief Executive
Nashville Barndo BuildersFounded the company and carried the closing myself while running it, which meant I could not hide from either side of the business. Every promise made on a sales call was one my own team had to keep for months afterwards. That teaches you to sell the truth, because you are the one who answers for it.
I managed the connection between lead flow, sales, fulfilment capacity and team performance so a bottleneck showed up as a number before it showed up as an angry phone call.

Founder and operations consultant
7 Figure IndustryWorked directly with founders inside coaching, consulting and founder-led businesses, tracing the path from lead flow through sales conversion and fulfilment to find where revenue was leaking, then installing the systems that made ownership clear and performance visible.
-
Founder and owner
7 Figure Ad CoRan a marketing agency and owned client acquisition, strategy, the sales conversation and delivery. It is hard to argue with a founder about lead flow if you have never had to produce it yourself.
-
Owner
Commercial construction — cell towersBefore any of the rest of it, I owned companies putting up cell towers, where a plan is a guess until a crew executes it and nobody cares about your title. They care whether you told them the truth about the schedule. I have sold the same way ever since.
What I can help you fix
-
Lead flow
A funnel that books qualified appointments, proven before anyone is hired to work it.
-
Your first setter and closer
Getting the founder off the phones without the close rate going with them.
-
Show rate and follow-up
Stopping the money that leaks out between the booking and the call.
-
Sales process design
A process every rep runs, so results come from the system rather than from whichever rep happens to be good.
-
Call review and coaching
Listening to the recording, finding where the call actually turned, and giving feedback specific enough to change the next one.
-
The real objection
Building belief in discovery, so the objection at the end is the one the buyer actually has and not the one they use to leave.
-
Scorecards and management
Making performance visible, so a slump is seen by the person who can fix it while it is still a slump.
-
Pipeline diagnostics
Following the path from lead to close until the breakdown has a location instead of a theory.
